Academic Awards

In pursuit of improving and upholding high quality scholarly work UC PACE will give three research paper awards in the following categories:

Student of Distinction Award

This award is given to the best paper presented by a student. The consideration here will include demonstration of mastery of research process, methodology and presentation techniques, the practical implications of the recommendations are clearly presented and sound.

Emerging Scholar/Student Award

This award is given to the best paper presented by an early career academic or postgraduate student. The consideration here will include demonstration of mastery of research process, methodology and presentation techniques.

Proven/Established Scholar Award

This award is given to a researcher whose paper demonstrates novelty, creativity, and production of new knowledge. The paper should contribute to epistemic advancement in one’s area of specialty.
