About Us

Partnership is at the heart of our work.

USAC collaborates with universities, government agencies, NGOs, foundations, private sector innovators, and community-based organizations to design and implement solutions that are locally grounded and globally informed.

Our partners include institutions and organizations represented by our Board of Directors, as well as strategic collaborators engaged through our initiatives, conferences, and knowledge platforms.

WE ARE Aligning global expertise with grounded, lived knowledge for lasting impact.

Mission

The US Africa Collaborative (USAC) is a global think tank, brain trust, and development partner advancing inclusive, regenerative, and people-centered solutions across Africa and its global Diaspora. We convene leaders, practitioners, scholars, artists, and institutions to co-create pathways toward smart villages, resilient cities, and thriving economies.

Vision

We envision a future where African and Diaspora communities lead the design of their own development—rooted in culture, equity, innovation, and shared prosperity. A future where knowledge flows freely across borders, generations, and disciplines to build smart futures together.

What We Do

USAC works at the intersection of:

These focus areas are advanced through PACSE, the Center of Excellence, and the Women’s Leadership Forum — ensuring coherence across strategy, programming, and impact.

How It Comes Together

USAC’s model is cyclical and reinforcing:

Together, these platforms allow USAC to operate as more than a convenor — we function as a collaborative infrastructure for long-term, place-based, and people-centered impact.

How We Work

The US Africa Collaborative (USAC) advances U.S.–Africa collaboration through a connected ecosystem of convenings, partnerships, research, and implementation platforms. Our work is designed to move ideas from dialogue to action while remaining grounded in equity, place, and people.

We operate through three integrated pillars — each reinforcing the others and translating collaboration into measurable impact.
